The creative economy is intersection of arts, culture, and business, offering a unique opportunity to tap into the inherent creativity of youth and catalyze a youth-led economic revolution.
At YEI, art is more than expression—it’s a catalyst for innovation. It teaches our students to approach problems with creativity, empathy, and an entrepreneurial spirit, exposing them to and preparing them for DC’s vibrant Creative Economy.
YEI was founded in 2015 with a mission to inspire youth to unlock their creative talents and use them to make the world a better place. Our engaging, hands-on entrepreneurial programs and products strengthen critical life skills and give youth the opportunity to affect positive social change while earning money.
Developing a STE(A)M Skillset
By engaging in STEAM activities, students gain not just knowledge but also skills that prepare them for academic success, personal growth, and professional excellence.
