Tacharna Crump, Executive Director

Tacharna Crump is a highly respected community leader and entrepreneur dedicated to improving the lives of youth and their families. Mrs.Crump founded Youth Entrepreneur Institute in 2015 to fill a dearth of options available to youth and young adults in our community and led a successful campaign to build the economic and education outcomes for DC youth through STEM and entrepreneurship training. Ms. Crump also is Commissioner on DC’s Out-of-School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes Commission, which leads a District-wide strategy for equitable access to OST programs & facilitates interagency planning and coordination for out-of-school-time programs and funding.

JAsmyne dawkins, Director or operations

Jasmyne Dawkins is the operational director and case manager for Youth Entrepreneur Institute. She has helped facilitate our after school entrepreneurship programs and manages the KidBizCON. Mrs. Dawkins was born and raised in Washington DC (Ward 6) and is passionate about teaching children new ways to use technology.
