Youth Entrepreneur Institute is looking for a self-motivated, mission-driven, Site Coordinator.
This individual is responsible for supporting the program administration and coordinating logistics that pertain to the Smart Hustle Jr. program at their assigned school or community site and will Project Leaders to lead and guide elementary school students in grades 3-5 in hands-on projects. An overview of the job responsibilities include:
Monitoring and tracking student participation
Supporting teaching artist and volunteers daily
Serving as the initial contact for teachers and community partners at their designated site
Co-teaching with teaching artist to youth at YEI’s designated sites as part of the Smart Hustle Jr. team
Assisting with the collection of data for program evaluation purposes.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in developing and fostering relationships with school and community members through education programming activities and community outreach events. Relevant background experience should include:
Teaching and/or high impact tutoring experience
Program coordination and evaluation
Lesson plan development
School and community engagement
This position reports directly to the Program Director and works closely with members of the YEI team, teachers, and school administrators
Youth Entrepreneur Institute is looking for a self-motivated, mission-driven, Enterprise Vending Manager. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our vending operations, playing a critical role in the administration and logistical coordination of our entrepreneurial programs. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Monitoring and managing the vending operations, ensuring smooth running and efficiency.
Support and guide our youth vendors, playing a pivotal role in their professional development and entrepreneurial journey.
Liaison for community partners and local stakeholders, fostering strong relationships that benefit both our program and the communities we serve.
Working closely with our youth, to contribute to their growth and success, ensuring they are engaged and motivated in our enterprise activities.
Assisting with the collection of data for program evaluation purposes and to make informed decisions to improve our vending operations.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of experience and skills pivotal for the success of our entrepreneurial and vending programs. Key experiences that we are looking for include:
A background in managing business operations, preferably in a vending or retail environment, highly valued.

TEACHING ARTISTS- Art, STEM and Business
YEI is seeking dynamic, creative, and dedicated STEM and Art Teaching Artist for our programs. This role involves cultivating creativity, nurturing entrepreneurial thinking, and fostering STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) skills among youth in 5-12 grade through art, craft, and design workshops. As a Teaching Artist for the STE(A)Mprentice, ARTprentice, or SmartHustle Jr Club, you will:
Deliver hands-on, two-hour Art or STEM-based classes, Monday through Thursday, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs and response of the student group.
Create an inclusive environment that encourages exploration of creative potential.
Keep reports on students and share those reports with supervisors, teachers and and occasionally liaise with parents.
Supervise groups of students, providing guidance and serving as a role model.
